microblading Technique
These are known as the hair simulation technique, a technique for creating the most natural brows, 3 dimensional look, mimicking your own eyebrow hairs, presenting in colour, thickness and angle using a manual blading pen.
It is perfect for people that already have quite good brow hair coverage rather than little to no hair exists and for those who want to fill out gaps in their eyebrows where hair is missing. If you are just want to have a natural look, this is the procedure for you but it will not achieve a makeup look. It's meant solely to create a hair-like strokes to blend with your natural eyebrow hair, form a structure but also give you the ability to add makeup for a more dramatic look.
Results and pigment retention vary from client to client and can be affected by procedure aftercare, skin type, age and the client's skin regimen. Colour retention time may range anywhere from 8 months up to 3 years, with most clients needing touch ups only once a year or so. Suits dry skin type.
MicroShading, OMBRE Powder Technique
If you’re someone who prefers a fuller brow, more filled-in look, resembling the look of makeup, you may want to consider the Powder fill, Shading or Ombre technique ( a faded front and a crisp tail). This technique mimics the appearance of conventional brow makeup using a PMU digital machine. The healed results appear more saturated like softly shaded brow pencil or powder. Client can choose to have the effect of soft, subtle or bold look.
It'd also be a good choice for those who lost hair in one spot due to a scar or some types of accident or best for covering unpleasant prior tattooed brow work. The technique is great for any skin type.
The technique lasts longer than Microblading as it uses more pigment throughout eyebrows. However, most people are fearful of this method as they could look too solid or unnatural. Semi-Permanent makeup has come a long way and is constantly advancing. This new shading method won't be solid, dark and saturated like the older permanent makeup we see in the 80s.
Combination and/or machine hairstroke Technique
This technique is a combination of Microblading and shading technique. For those who prefer a natural and makeup look. The combo technique gives eyebrows more definition and fullness with additional 3D dimension, hair-like strokes + powder effect.
Machine hairstroke or nano brow technique provides similar final result as seen in Microblading. The main difference is that machine hairstroke, as the name implies, use a PMU digital machine to create a hair-like stroke. The technique is more gentle on skin and gives a realistic result. Often, we add a touch of soft shading for a charming look.
Clients can choose to have an effect of soft, subtle or bold look.
If you are wanting more dramatic, denser, fuller more of a “makeup look” then a combination brow is perfect for you.
Since Microblading technique alone will never fix your problem if you have uneven brows, gaps, scars in your brows, nor give the makeup look, implementing shading with hair-strokes is best choice for you.
